Friday, April 7 - Sunday, April 9
10:00 am - 10:00 pm
Spokane County Fair and Expo Center
Rev your engines auto enthusiasts — car show season is here. Kicking off this year’s lineup is the first ever Spokane Speed And Custom Show. This indoor event runs from April 7-9 at the Spokane Fair and Expo Center.
This event will show some of the most impressive cars and bikes in the Northeast. The vintage models on display will boast beautiful paint, hardware, and interiors, leaving visitors craving the nostalgia of a classic cruise. While auto glass tends to be unpredictable, with one rock chip not spreading for 10 years and another reaching two feet in 30 minutes, the vehicles at this event will have the finest hardware available. Not a crack, scratch, or tarnish will be in sight.
The events website also promises an impressive lighting display, adding to the glamour of the indoor venue. Setting themselves apart from an outdoor show even more, each vehicle at the Spokane Speed and Custom Show will involve some sort of visual setup, from a carpet to an elaborate display.
This event will also feature a car club display challenge, in which groups of five cars will be shown inside of a themed display. These cars will then compete with each other, the top group taking home a cash prize. The groups entered in the competition so far are called The Gents, Misfits Inc., the Dukes, Inland Empire Mustang Club, and Vintage Trailers NW.
If you’re ready to revel in the beauty of the Northwest’s finest bikes and cars, be sure to mark your calendar for this unforgettable event. The Spokane Speed and Auto Show will run from noon to 10 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for kids ages six to 12. Children under four get free admission. For more information visit the event website or email SpokaneSpeedandCustomShow@gmail.com.
